Five days, from Thursday 8 to Monday 12 October. The opening speech outside the Town Hall, the Fair Queen Gala and four nights of free concerts in Plaza de España. Here is the full programme, what happens every day and what the rides cost.
This does not depend on the day: the rides open all five, the music goes down at the same time and the daytime fair is in the town centre.
At the fairground, all five days. €3.50 from 8 to 11 and €2 on Monday 12, Children’s Day.
Every day, from 19:00 to 21:00, the fairground turns the music down so people with functional, hearing and sensory diversity can enjoy the rides.
In the town centre and at the Balcón de Europa: children’s activities and local groups performing.

The fair opens at eight in the evening with the Municipal Band and the opening speech by Cynthia Martín Cortés outside the Town Hall. At half past ten, the Fair Queen Gala in Plaza de España, free entry.

It is the fair’s main stage, in the town centre, and it hosts the Fair Queen Gala and every concert. All free, no tickets and no booking.
All five shows in Plaza de España are free entry: there are no tickets and no booking. You turn up and go in until it is full.
Two times are not published yet --Chambao on Saturday and El Arrebato on Sunday--, and as soon as the Town Council gives them, they will be here.
The Town Council has agreed a reduced price for the whole fair, and on Monday 12, Children’s Day, it drops again.

Every day, from 19:00 to 21:00, the fairground turns the music down so people with functional, hearing and sensory diversity can enjoy the rides. The Fiesta Mayor department asked for it to make the fair more accessible.
The fair takes up two places: the fairground, where the rides are, and the town centre --Plaza de España and the Balcón de Europa--, where the opening speech, the concerts and the daytime fair are.

Directions ↗The town centre fills up, especially during the daytime fair: if you can, leave the car outside and walk in. The Town Council has not announced any special buses or shuttles.
Nerja’s Fair is held in honour of its two patron saints, the Virgen de las Angustias and San Miguel Arcángel. The main day is Saturday 10: Mass at seven and, afterwards, the procession through the streets of the town.
