The lights go on
The fair starts in the town and ends at the fairground: giants and big-heads through the streets, floral offering to the patron saint and, at nine, the lights with fireworks.

On Wednesday 14 and Friday 16, from 19:00 to 21:30, the rides area runs with no music, sirens or lights. (Friday’s programme says until 21:00 and the Inclusive Fair section says until 21:30.)

The council lays on three free shuttle bus routes to the La Caridad fairground.
Route 1 · San Pedro Alcántara
Departs from Calle Manuel González Portilla, opposite El Ingenio.
Stops: Manuel González Portilla (Boulevard), Avenida Guadalhorce (Edificio Los Ángeles), fairground (east entrance), Avenida Luis Braille (Teresa de León school) and Avenida Luis Braille (terminus).
Departs from Farmacia Berdaguer, in Marbella, and arrives at the fairground.
From 13 to 19: from Marbella at 18:00, 20:00, 22:00 and 00:00; from the fairground at 19:00, 21:00, 23:00 and 01:00.
Routes 1 and 2 run from 20:00 to 03:00 on Tuesday 13, from 13:30 to 03:30 from the 14th to the 18th, and from 13:30 to 00:00 on Monday 19.
And the horses
Horse riding around the fairground runs from 13:00 to 20:00, except on the patron saint’s day —Monday 19—, when it starts at 11:00. To ride in you must register beforehand on 613 569 882 and display your pass.
