Benalmádena takes its tourist offer to the WTM fair in London

The municipality attends the event from November 3 to 5 with meetings with easyJet holidays and Jet2 and advertising in Piccadilly Circus.

Benalmádena will be at the World Travel Market (WTM) in London, held from November 3 to 5, 2026 at the ExCeL London venue, within the Turismo y Planificación Costa del Sol space. The goal is to maintain its presence in the British market, its main international tourism market, and to open professional contacts to promote the destination throughout the year, according to the Ayuntamiento de Benalmádena. The weight of British tourism in the municipality is reflected in the figures. Between January and July 2026, Benalmádena received 134,985 British travelers staying in hotel establishments. In July alone there were 25,853, 9.4% more than in the same month of 2025. In the first quarter of the year, these visitors generated 200,665 overnight stays in hotels and tourist apartments.

Meetings with operators and screens in Piccadilly Circus

The agenda in London includes professional meetings with easyJet holidays and Jet2 Holidays at the Turismo Costa del Sol exhibition space, as well as other meetings with industry representatives. These appointments will serve to present the destination's new developments and exchange information on the evolution of the British market. Among the promotional actions, the projection of the municipality's tourism image on the screens of Piccadilly Circus, one of the busiest spots in the British capital, stands out. At the fair, an offer will be presented that combines the nine kilometers of coastline, the beaches --which in 2026 have three Blue Flags, plus the distinction of the Puerto Deportivo--, heritage, gastronomy, nature and leisure. The municipality's three centers will also be shown: Benalmádena Pueblo, Arroyo de la Miel and Benalmádena Costa, along with digital tourist information resources, such as the Destination Management System, which has an English version.
