The Local Police of Málaga processes 56 complaints for noise and coexistence in one week
Officers carried out 184 interventions in the Centro Histórico, Teatinos and Carretera de Cádiz between August 31 and September 7, with 12 complaints against establishments and 44 against individuals.

The Policía Local de Málaga processed 56 denuncias between Monday, August 31 (from 7.00 horas) and Monday, September 7 (until 7.00 horas), according to the note sent by the Ayuntamiento de Málaga. Of these, 12 were against establecimientos and 44 against individuals, for breaches of the ordenanza de control de ruidos and the normas de convivencia ciudadana y protección del espacio público. In total, 184 intervenciones were carried out in the Centro Histórico and in the distritos of Teatinos and Carretera de Cádiz.
Regarding noise, seven people were denounced: five for singing or shouting in the vía pública, one for using sound equipment or speakers on the street, and one for disturbing noise inside a dwelling. The five denuncias for singing or shouting were recorded on calles Granada (two), Madre de Dios (one), Dolores Ibárruri (one) and Palma del Río (one).
Regarding the ordenanza de convivencia ciudadana, 37 denuncias were issued. The most numerous were fourteen for relieving bodily needs in the vía pública, on calles Cofradías (six), Constitución (two), Duque de la Victoria (one), San Telmo (two), Dos Aceras (one) and Demóstenes (two); and eleven for group drinking in unauthorized areas, in Campos Elíseos (four), Tres Cruces (three) and Héroe de Sostoa (four). The rest is spread among unauthorized parking, insistent street vending, breach of park rules, littering such as cigarette butts, and selling alcohol outside permitted areas.
Regarding establecimientos, 41 intervenciones were carried out, of which eleven were inspections. Seven locales were denounced for a total of twelve infracciones, including not complying with the licencia de apertura, exceeding capacity, breaching schedule, selling tobacco without authorization, serving alcohol at night without permit, and selling alcohol to minors. There were also denuncias for occupying the vía pública without authorization, having more tables and chairs than allowed, and not displaying the plan of the authorized surface.
In addition, the Policía Local carried out a specific operation against intrusismo in public transport, monitoring VTC and taxis. Of 77 actuaciones, eleven denuncias resulted: nine to VTC, mainly at the aeropuerto and high-demand zones, for not carrying the libro de registro de viajeros or soliciting clients without a prior contract, and two to taxis, for lacking a libro de reclamaciones or transporting passengers without a license. There were also 28 vigilance actuaciones for possible unauthorized transport.
On the other hand, three follow-ups of decretos municipales were carried out and an acta was notified for breach of one of them, in addition to 91 complementary vigilance actuaciones in salas de fiestas, botellón zones, closures of establecimientos and terrazas.
The Área de Comercio y Vía Pública issued, in the same period, six actas for breaches in terrazas, due to improper occupation or lack of authorization: two in distrito Este (paseo marítimo El Pedregal), three in Bailén-Miraflores (plaza Monseñor Bocanegra and calle Nuestra Señora de los Clarines) and one in Palma-Palmilla (calle La Defensa).
According to the note, sanciones for acoustic contamination can range from 600 euros, for minor infracciones, up to 300.000 euros for very serious ones, while those related to the ordenanza de convivencia ciudadana start from 300 euros.
