What InforMálaga is

InforMálaga is the service portal for Málaga: the pharmacy on duty, the bus, the weather, what to do this weekend and what's happening in the city, all in one place. You can use all of it without signing up. You only need an account to post ads, save favorites, choose your home page buttons and appear on the leaderboard.

The home page

At the top, the search box «What do you need in Málaga?». Below it, six buttons to what people look up most; with an account you can swap them for your own in «Make them yours». Further down, the day's news.

Moving around the portal

• On a computer, the menu at the top; everything else is grouped under «More».
• On a phone, the bar at the bottom: Home, Search, What's On, Services and My Málaga. The rest is in the menu with the three lines.
• «All services» brings together on one page every section there is in Málaga. Services

The search box

Type it the way you'd say it: «pharmacy on duty», «weather tomorrow», «what to do on Saturday». It searches all sections at once and, if what you're looking for is a section, takes you straight there.

Everyday life

Pharmacies on duty

• Which pharmacy is on duty right now, with its duty hours.
• «Which one is closest to me?» sorts them by distance from where you are.
• Call and «Directions» for each one, and the pharmacy on duty on another day.
• An alert on your phone every time the pharmacy on duty changes.
• Below, all the pharmacies in the city with their map.

Health

Health centers and hospitals, the one closest to you, its phone number and how to get there.

Useful phone numbers

The city's phone numbers you look for when you need them: emergencies, public offices and services. Search them by name and call with one tap.

Weather

How it is now, the next few hours and the next few days. Under «Alerts», the warnings for wind, rain, heat or storms. You can ask for an alert on your phone with the warnings or with each morning's weather.

Petrol stations

The price of each fuel at each gas station, which ones are open and which one is closest to you.

Taxis

Taxi ranks on the map and the one closest to you.

Recycling

Where to drop off batteries, cooking oil and whatever doesn't go in the usual bin, on the map and in the list.

Lotteries

The latest result of each draw and the previous ones, game by game.

Getting around

You say where you're leaving from and where you're going —or let it find you— and every means of transport answers at once, with the changes if needed and the walking involved. You don't need to know beforehand what to take.

Buses

The city bus lines. Look up your stop by its name or number and see when the next bus on each line comes.

The metro lines, station by station and with their timetables.

Commuter and long-distance trains, with their timetables.

Community

Classifieds

• Search: by category, price, condition, private or business, and sort by newest or by price.
• Post: you need an account with a confirmed email. Up to six photos; the ad is reviewed, lasts 60 days and can be renewed.
• Contact the seller: with your account, from the ad itself. Your message reaches them by email and they reply to your address.
• Report an ad that is a scam or a duplicate, no account needed.

Your things, no account needed

My Málaga

The portal set up from where you live. You choose your stop, your lines and the topics you're interested in, and it shows you your things as soon as you open it. It's saved in that browser, no account needed.

Phone alerts

You choose what you want alerts about and for how long: the pharmacy on duty, weather alerts, the weather each morning and each news topic. You can remove them whenever you like. On iPhone, you first need to add InforMálaga to your Home Screen. How to do it, step by step

InforMálaga on your Home Screen

From the browser menu, «Add to Home Screen». It opens like an app, and the pages you've already seen can be viewed without signal. How to do it, step by step

In English

The «English» button at the top switches the portal to English, and it's remembered for next time.

Your account

Creating the account

Name, email and password. You'll get an email to confirm your address: you need it to post ads and to contact sellers.

Signing in

With your email and password, or with «Sign in with Google». If you forget your password, «I've forgotten my password» sends you a link to set a new one.

My account

• My profile: name, email, phone, leaderboard alias, language and password.
• Security: two-step verification, which is optional.
• My favorites: the events and ads you saved.
• My ads: renew them, mark them as sold or delete them.
• Selling as a business?: your business details, only if you want to advertise as a business.

Deleting the account

In your profile, typing ELIMINAR to confirm. Your ads are deleted along with the account.
