The draw that will set the order of performances will be held on Monday, December 13, at La Caja Blanca. The preliminaries run from January 16 to 22 at the Teatro de la Escuela Superior de Arte Dramático (ESAD), while the semifinals and the Gran Final will take place at the Teatro Cervantes: the former from January 24 to 27 and the final on Friday, January 29. The Plaza de la Constitución hosts the official start with the pregón, given by the carnavalero and communicator Félix Godoy Agua, and the election of the Dios Momo and the Diosa del Carnaval. The following day, Sunday, January 31, it is the turn of the youngest, with the children's pregón by Noa Pérez and Hugo Martín, the election of the Príncipe, the Princesa, the Dios Momo and the Diosa Infantil and, in the afternoon, the Gran Desfile. On Friday, February 5, the Gran Gala de Drag Queens is held and on Saturday the 6th the Sábado de Disfraces, with parades, contests, the Batalla de las Flores and an evening performance. On Sunday the 7th, Domingo de Piñata, the Desfile de Dioses y Animación, the Gran Boqueroná and the Entierro del Boquerón bring it to a close. The Carnaval also comes to the neighbourhoods with three dates: on January 23 in El Perchel (Potaje Perchelero), on February 6 in Palma-Palmilla (Paella) and on February 14 in El Palo (Fideos a la parte).
