The Diocese of Málaga organizes a training gathering for young evangelizers
The #Despierta experience, aimed at young people aged 18 to 35, will be held from October 16 to 18 at the Casa Diocesana. Registration costs 95 euros and is open until October 6.

The Youth Delegation of the Diocese of Málaga has launched the #Despierta experience, a training gathering aimed at young people between 18 and 35 years old who are sent by their parish, hermandad, movement, congregation or association. Priests with responsibilities in youth pastoral work are also invited.
According to the Youth delegate, José Miguel Porras, the initiative seeks to «awaken the evangelizing desire in young people, so that it drives them to proclaim Jesus Christ within their environments» and to form «young evangelizers of other young people, capable of bearing witness to their faith».
The gathering will consist of an active and participatory training centered on the personal encounter with Jesus Christ, according to the delegate's description.
When and where
The gathering will take place from Friday, October 16 to Sunday, October 18, from 19.00 hours on Friday until after lunch on Sunday, at the Casa Diocesana, in the Betania building, next to the ermita del Monte Calvario. The Delegation stresses the importance of attending the entire gathering and not just part of it.
The registration cost is 95 euros, an amount lower than last year's, since the Delegation covers part of the expense. The delegate has noted that anyone with financial difficulties can contact the organization.
