The Diputación programs more than 220 cultural activities for the last quarter of the year
The Centro Cultural MVA changes the ticketing system for its shows with invitation and launches a digital magazine in mid-September. The programme includes theatre, dance, music and workshops until December.

The Diputación de Málaga has presented its cultural programme for the last four months of the year, with more than 220 activities including theatre, dance, music, circus and training workshops, according to the note issued by the institution.
One of the changes that directly affects those attending the Centro Cultural Provincial María Victoria Atencia (MVA), on Ollerías street, is the access system to the auditorium for shows that require an invitation. Starting in September, only those who have collected their ticket through the culturama.cliqueo.es platform will be able to enter.
For those who have difficulties with this digital procedure, the centre will reserve, from Monday to Wednesday, twenty tickets for people over 65, which can be collected in person at the MVA. In addition, from nine to eleven in the morning the centre's staff will help these people learn the process so they can manage it on their own in the future. Reserved tickets that are not collected will become available again to the general public starting Thursday.
Adult performances will begin at 20.30 hours and family performances at 19.00 hours, also at the MVA. Tickets for each show will go on sale the Monday before each event on the same platform.
New website and digital magazine
The Diputación has also announced the launch of the website centroculturalmva.es, which will include a digital magazine with interviews and features about culture and Málaga creators, as well as the centre's schedule of activities. It will be available in mid-September.
Performing arts programme
Among the theatre and dance offerings, the Escénik cycle will offer thirteen shows at the MVA, one of them inclusive, and will bring five productions awarded at the Premios de Teatro Ateneo and the Ciclo Autor to different municipalities of the province.
The season will open on September 18 with the Portuguese company Janela Aberta Teatro and its show «Cabo das Tormentas». Among the notable dates is, on October 3, «De lentejas y garbanzos», by the Málaga company Teatro del Gato, an adaptation of the first theatrical text by Miguel Romero Esteo. The Premios Ateneo will also bring shows to Marbella, Monda, Mijas and Nerja between September and November, and the Ciclo Autor will pass through Alhaurín el Grande and Archidona in October.
Mediation in prison and training
The Territorio Expansivo programme will develop, between September and December, an artistic mediation project at the Centro Penitenciario Málaga II, in Archidona, aimed at the male inmate population, with two creative work sessions alongside the artist José Carlos Cuevas.
In training, a 16-hour Argentine tango course will be offered, with 30 places and no need to attend as a couple, recommended from age 18, and the workshop «Texturas del yo», in artistic creation, recommended from age 15 and requiring no prior experience.
In music, the cycle «Con Sello Propio» will kick off on October 1 with Ana Alcaide and will continue with Georgina on October 29 and Ester Vallejo on November 21. The symphonic section will include the «Concierto por la Paz» by the Joven Orquesta Provincial de Málaga and the Coral Santa María de la Victoria, on Thursday, December 10.
