Theatre: from tragicomedy to Miller's classic

The programme opens from November 6 to 8 with «Verborrea», a tragicomedy written and directed by Pablo Remón and performed by Javier Cámara, Israel Elejalde, Marta Nieto and Emilio Tomé. As the theatre describes it, it is an episodic narrative with echoes of the picaresque novel about inheritance and the need to build up and tear down myths. From November 13 to 15 comes «Panorama desde el puente», Arthur Miller's classic set in an Italian-American community in Brooklyn in the fifties. José Luis García-Pérez, María Adánez and Ana Garcés star in the production, directed by Javier Molina, artistic director of The Actors Studio.

Dance and humour

From November 17 to 22, choreographer Enrique Gasa Valga presents «El Gran Gatsby - The Show», an adaptation of F. Scott Fitzgerald's classic through dance, with live music and vocals. The international cast of dancers is accompanied by a band performing jazz numbers by Nina Simone, Duke Ellington, Ella Fitzgerald and Louis Armstrong. La Cubana returns to Málaga from November 25 to December 15 with «La cuisine de ma cousine», a comedy about gastronomy that keeps the humour, music, rhythm and audience participation characteristic of the company, to which on this occasion it adds local complicity.

Tickets and box office

Tickets can be purchased on the theatre's website, at the box office or at El Corte Inglés. The box office opens every day, Monday to Sunday, from 10:00 to 14:00 and from 17:00 to 21:00. No entry to the auditorium is allowed once the show has begun. The theatre states that it maintains hygiene and health measures approved by the Ministry of Health.
