The municipal programme «A Pie» of Antequera offers four outings between October 18 and December 13 through Málaga and Granada. Each route costs 12 euros, places are limited and are allocated in order of registration.

The mayor of Antequera, Manolo Barón, has visited the FAISEM open day at its headquarters on Calle Lucena, on the occasion of World Mental Health Day, which is commemorated on Saturday, October 10.

The Real Colegiata de Santa María hosted on Thursday, October 8, the screening of the first episode of the series' new season, the only non-provincial-capital city where this premiere has been held.

"Eres feliz y no lo sabes" brings together twenty works by the painter in oil, acrylic and watercolour and can be visited in the museum's temporary galleries until January 24.

The City Council has awarded medals and commendations to officers for outstanding interventions, career service, and duty, as well as recognising a citizen who returned a wallet containing more than 1,000 euros.

The mayor of Antequera and the delegate of the Andalusian Government in Málaga visited the centre's remodelling works, which will include physiotherapy, occupational therapy and speech therapy and is expected to open in the summer of 2027.

The Junta de Andalucía is funding with more than 150,000 euros the renewal of the road surface on the access road to the Torcal Alto Visitor Centre, damaged by the storms of early this year.
