Antequera commemorates the 15th anniversary of Finca La Torre, a benchmark for oil in Bobadilla
The mayor of Antequera, Manolo Barón, and the deputy mayor of Tourism and Commerce, Ana Cebrián, attended this Thursday, October 15, the event for the 15th anniversary of Finca La Torre, an extra virgin olive oil company from Bobadilla.
The commemorative event for the 15th anniversary of Finca La Torre was held this Thursday, October 15, in Bobadilla, a district of Antequera, with the presence of the mayor, Manolo Barón, and the deputy mayor delegated for Tourism and Commerce, Ana Cebrián.
A company from Bobadilla
Finca La Torre is dedicated to the production and marketing of extra virgin olive oil and carries out its activity in the municipality of Antequera, in the area of Bobadilla, within the agri-food sector linked to the economy and agricultural tradition of the territory.
Borja Adrián, representing the firm, and Víctor Pérez, technical director, took part in the celebration. Also in attendance were the general secretary of Agri-Food Industries, Rural Development and Companion Animals of the Junta de Andalucía, José Carlos Álvarez, and the fourth vice-president of the Provincial Council of Málaga, Manuel Marmolejo.
Fifteen years of history
During his speech, Barón recalled the company's beginnings and the first visits to its facilities. According to him, its leaders had from the start the goal of developing a differentiated product and making their oil "a benchmark of quality", a philosophy that, he said, they have maintained over these fifteen years.
The mayor congratulated Borja Adrián and Víctor Pérez on the anniversary and encouraged them to continue with their activity and to maintain the company's hallmarks since its creation.

The commemoration served to review the firm's history and to bring together institutional representatives and company leaders.
