The image of the Santísimo Cristo de Hermandad y Caridad, the work of sculptor Manuel Ramos Corona, marks twenty-five years since its blessing, and the Cofradía Sacramental de los Dolores del Puerto de la Torre commemorates it with a free exhibition that can be visited until November 21 in the centre of Málaga. The exhibition, titled «ANTE EUM. Veinticinco años ante el Santísimo Cristo de Hermandad y Caridad», offers a journey through the history of the image, its creation process and the artistic heritage that has grown around it. It brings together photographs, historical documents, embroideries, paintings and other heritage items, and allows visitors to learn about the Cristo's link with the brotherhood and with the Puerto de la Torre neighbourhood. The route begins at the Museo Jesús Castellanos, at the headquarters of the Agrupación de Cofradías de Semana Santa de Málaga, and ends at the church of San Julián, on calle Muro de San Julián, where the Santísimo Cristo remains exposed for the veneration of the faithful. The visit can be followed with free audio guides in Spanish and English, accessed via QR codes.

Opening hours and access

The exhibition is open from November 6 to 21, Monday to Saturday from 17:30 to 20:00. On Saturdays there is also a morning schedule, from 11:00 to 13:30. Admission is free and no prior registration is required. The exhibition is organised by the Cofradía Sacramental de los Dolores del Puerto de la Torre on the occasion of the XXV Anniversary of the blessing of the image. Information about the exhibition can be found on the brotherhood's website: doloresdelpuerto.com.
