Residents and businesses in the centre of Nerja will see their electricity supply interrupted in the early hours of Wednesday, October 28. The company e-distribución, part of the Endesa group, has scheduled the cut between 1:30 and 8:00 to carry out maintenance and improvement work on the distribution grid, according to Nerja Town Hall.
Which areas are left without power
The cut will affect the streets Carmen, Granada, Paco Haro and Gómez; the paseo Balcón de Europa; the plazas Cavana and España; and the beaches of Calahonda and El Salón. These are areas in the centre of the municipality where homes and tourist and commercial establishments are concentrated.
The interruption takes place in the early hours, a time when activity in the street is lower, although it may affect shops and premises that open early and homes that depend on electrical appliances during those hours.
Enquiries and notices
The electricity company regrets the inconvenience these works may cause to the affected residents and establishments and thanks them for their understanding, according to the Town Hall.
