The Ayuntamiento de Torremolinos has organised the Fiesta del terror for Saturday, October 31 at the Centro Cultural Pablo Ruiz Picasso. All activities are free and open access, and the programme runs from twelve noon until nine thirty at night.
Programme of the day
The day starts at 12 noon with the English storytelling session «Storytime trick or treat» in the assembly hall, aimed at children aged 3 to 10 and with the collaboration of the Academia de Inglés Kids&Us de Torremolinos. At the same time, a themed terror park opens in the gardens with devil clown inflatables, haunted pumpkins and ghostbusters, running until 21:30.
At four in the afternoon, the municipality's dance centres offer dance performances at the main entrance: Danza urbana The Royal Family, by Lucía Barroso, and Centro de Danza de Torremolinos, by Carmen Crespo. Between 17:00 and 19:00 the «Yincana maldita» takes place and, at the same time, family workshops on terror makeup, tattoos and FX wounds and monster hair painting. Young people aged 14 to 30 can take part in a non-alcoholic cocktail workshop. Quimi Rock provides the music.
Tunnel of terror
From 19:00 to 21:30 the tunnel of terror operates, a walk-through attraction with actors and special effects that goes through rooms such as La mansión de las almas perdidas, El pasillo de los lamentos, La habitación prohibida and la Cárcel maldita. Access is via the rear area of the centre, free and open, and in order of arrival.
Spaces for inclusion
The event includes accessibility measures. The centre will have a friendly sensory room, organised by the Asociación TEAcompaño, for people with autism and auditory sensitivity. At the concierge desk there will be hearing protectors, cards to avoid queuing and identification wristbands for minors. The tunnel of terror reserves an inclusive time slot from 18:30 to 19:00 for people with Autism Spectrum Disorder and functional diversity.
How to take part
For the inclusive tunnel time slot you must register in advance through the Torremolinos Despega app. The rest of the activities do not require registration and entry is free until full capacity is reached.
