Alhaurín de la Torre improves its transparency score and rises to third place in Málaga
The City Council has renewed its Transparency and Open Government Portal, which has raised its compliance with external indicators from 37% to 70.11%, according to data from Dyntra.

The Ayuntamiento de Alhaurín de la Torre has renewed and updated its Transparency and Open Government Portal, a tool through which residents can consult municipal information on organization, personnel, economy, procurement, participation, urban planning or aid and subsidies, among other sections.
According to data from Dyntra, a platform that evaluates the transparency of public administrations based on a set of indicators, the municipality has gone from a compliance level of 37% to 70.11%. With this figure, Alhaurín de la Torre ranks third in the province of Málaga, ninth in Andalucía and 61st in Spain as a whole, always according to that same measurement.
Among the improvements applied to the portal is a clearer presentation of information on subsidies, both regarding calls for applications and awards. The Aid and Subsidies section brings together the terms, calls for applications, awards and the Strategic Subsidies Plan of the Ayuntamiento.
The mayor, Joaquín Villanova, referred to this line of work during his participation in the Greencities meeting, held at the Palacio de Ferias y Congresos de Málaga the week of September 14, according to the statement sent by the Ayuntamiento.
The councillor responsible for the Transparency Platform, José Manuel de Molina, has pointed out that the goal of the governing team is to keep adding content to the portal and improving the sections that allow for a progressive increase in the number of indicators met, thus facilitating citizens' access to information on municipal management.
