The mayor visits the filming of Disney's 'Far Cry' series in Málaga

Francisco de la Torre has visited the production offices and the set of the series, which is being filmed at the former provincial prison with a crew of about 350 people.

The mayor of Málaga, Francisco de la Torre, visited this morning the production offices and the filming set of 'Far Cry', Disney's new international series that is being filmed at the city's former provincial prison and which is based on the video game of the same name.

During the visit, the mayor was able to see the progress of the production, carried out by the company Sur Film as service producer and in coordination with Málaga Film Office, the Málaga City Council's municipal filming office, attached to Málaga Procultura.

The production brings together a crew of approximately 350 people and includes the filming of fiction and action scenes, which include special effects and controlled detonations.

According to the note sent by the City Council, these actions have the corresponding authorizations and the security measures planned for this type of special effects, and the security agencies and forces involved have been informed. Likewise, citizens have been kept informed of the main effects related to parking, traffic and the usual activity of the area.
