Estepona hosts the first masterclass of the provincial bullfighting circuit on Sunday
The Plaza de Toros de Estepona will host, on Sunday, September 27, at 12:00 hours, the first of three masterclasses of the IV Circuito de Escuelas Taurinas de la Provincia de Málaga. Admission is free.

The Plaza de Toros de Estepona will host, on Sunday, September 27, at 12:00 hours, the first of the three master classes that make up the IV Circuito de Escuelas Taurinas de la Provincia de Málaga, promoted by the Diputación de Málaga. Admission will be free.
The class will be given by the novillero Francisco Morales, with novillos from the Aguadulce ganadería, and is aimed at students from Andalusian bullfighting schools.
According to the Ayuntamiento de Estepona, the circuit is organized by the Escuela Taurina Provincial de Málaga and will consist of three events: in addition to the one in Estepona, one will be held in Villanueva del Rosario, on Sunday, October 4, with the novillero Curro Márquez, and another in Marbella, on Sunday, October 25, with Alejandro Cano, where the final of the circuit will be held.
In this fourth edition, fifteen students from bullfighting schools are taking part, performing alongside novilleros and picadores from the province of Málaga. The Ayuntamiento explains that the aim is to contribute to the promotion of these students and offer them new opportunities in the bullfighting field.
Of the fifteen students, four belong to the Escuela Taurina Provincial de Málaga, two to the Escuela Taurina de Ronda, three to the Escuela Taurina Costa del Sol and two to the Escuela Taurina de Antequera. In addition, the bullfighting schools of Úbeda, Ciudad Real and Murcia have been invited to the circuit.
The event will also serve to select the schools that will represent the province of Málaga in the XX Certamen Internacional de Escuelas Taurinas «La Malagueta» and in the Certamen Doctor Juan Pedro de Luna.
The Estepona event, with free admission, will take place on Sunday, September 27 at 12:00 hours at the Plaza de Toros de la localidad.
