Fundación Unicaja and the Museo Picasso Málaga renew their collaboration agreement
Both institutions have signed a new agreement to support the museum's Centro de Estudios e Investigación and to collaborate on the MUNCH-PICASSO exhibition, planned for this autumn.

Fundación Unicaja and the Museo Picasso Málaga have signed a new collaboration agreement to support the activity of the museum's Centro de Estudios e Investigación (CEI). The agreement also extends to the exhibition field, with a new pact regarding the exhibition MUNCH-PICASSO, which is part of the Museo Picasso Málaga's programming for this autumn.
The exhibition will propose a dialogue between the Norwegian artist Edvard Munch (1863-1944) and Pablo Picasso (1881-1973), bringing together more than a hundred paintings, prints and drawings to explore thematic affinities, influences and shared concerns of both creators.
The agreement was signed by the president of Fundación Unicaja, José Manuel Domínguez, and the president of the executive board and second vice-president of the Board of Trustees of the Museo Picasso Málaga, Bernard Ruiz-Picasso. According to Fundación Unicaja, this collaboration continues the support it has been providing to the Centro de Estudios e Investigación of the Museo Picasso Málaga since last year.
With this renewal, the Centro de Estudios e Investigación will continue with a work program that includes specialized research projects, seminars and academic meetings, collaborations with universities and cultural institutions, and initiatives to facilitate access to documentary collections and digital resources. According to Fundación Unicaja, these actions seek to foster new lines of study on Picasso's work, promote the exchange of knowledge among specialists and expand the reach of the museum's research activity.
