The Plaza de Toros de La Malagueta will host a festival against cancer on October 3
The charity event, with concerts and food and drink stalls from 13:00 hours, will raise funds for Málaga-based organizations that work with cancer patients and their families.

The La Malagueta bullring will host, on Saturday, October 3, the second edition of the Málaga contra el Cáncer Festival, a charity event that will begin at 13:00 and will combine live music with food and drink stalls.
The ticket costs 12 euros and can be purchased through the websites unidoscontraelcancermlg.es and entradium.com.
The festival is organized by the Agrupación de Desarrollo Unidos contra el Cáncer, of which the Ayuntamiento de Málaga is a member, in collaboration with the Diputación de Málaga. According to the note sent by the Ayuntamiento, the aim is to make visible the work of the groups that care for people with cancer and, at the same time, to raise money to launch new projects.
Among the performances scheduled on the lineup are Super 8, Funkonautas, Nat Simons, 90 Roll, Capitán Vinilo, Caracoles and Sr. Mirinda.
Everything raised will go to the associations and foundations that make up the Agrupación, to fund programs of psychological and social care, support, research, awareness, prevention and assistance to patients and their families.
The Agrupación de Desarrollo Unidos contra el Cáncer is a body established in 2012 by the Ayuntamiento de Málaga in order to promote the exchange of information and experiences among the entities working in this field, as well as to drive awareness and cancer prevention actions. In addition to the Área de Derechos Sociales of the Ayuntamiento, it includes the Fundación Andrés Olivares, the Fundación Infantil Ronald McDonald, the Asociación de Voluntarios de Oncología Infantil (AVOI), the Fundación Malagueña de Asistencia a Enfermos de Cáncer (FMAEC), the Fundación Cesare Scariolo, the Asociación para la Atención a las Mujeres Mastectomizadas u Operadas de Cáncer de Mama (ASAMMA), the Fundación CUDECA and the Asociación Española contra el Cáncer (AECC).
The festival's presentation event was attended by the delegate councilor for Derechos Sociales, Francisco Cantos, the vice president of Ciudadanía y Equilibrio Territorial of the Diputación, Antonia Ledesma, and representatives of the eight entities that make up the Agrupación.
