Manilva expects to sign the asphalt, parking and seafront promenade contracts before the end of the year

The Manilva Town Council is coordinating the projects that will go out to tender in the coming months, including the asphalt plan, the parking areas on calle Aurora Albornoz and the extension of the seafront promenade next to plaza del Greco. The plan is to sign the contracts before the end of the year.

The Manilva Town Council is working on the planning of a series of works that will be carried out in the municipality through tenders. According to the Consistorio, the aim is for the contracts to be signed before the end of the year so that the work can begin as soon as possible.

Asphalt and discharges

Among the planned actions is an asphalt plan that the Town Council describes as imminent and the elimination of discharges in the arroyo del Estanquillo, which is in its final phase.

Parking, lighting and Castillo

The list includes the parking areas on calle Aurora Albornoz, the new lighting for the iglesia de Santa Ana and the cementerio parroquial, and the site layout record for the embovedado del Castillo.

Seafront promenade and other actions

The extension of the seafront promenade at plaza del Greco, currently out to tender, has also been addressed, along with progress on the Centro de Día, the Parque del Agua, the second phase of the Manilva-Sabinillas path and the preliminary actions on calle Norte del Puerto de la Duquesa, for which the technical documentation and necessary authorisations are being compiled.

The coordination meeting was held by the mayor of Manilva, Mario Jiménez, and the councillor for Infrastructure and Works, Marcos Ruiz, accompanied by a municipal technician.
