Promálaga joins the European network EIT Culture & Creativity
The municipal company joins as a cooperation partner in this European community of cultural innovation, which will open up funding, training and international contact opportunities for creative businesses in Málaga.

The Ayuntamiento de Málaga, through the municipal company Promálaga, has joined EIT Culture & Creativity as a new cooperation partner, according to the statement issued by the Ayuntamiento. The move seeks to expand opportunities for collaboration, funding, training and internationalization for companies and professionals in the city's cultural and creative sector.
EIT Culture & Creativity is one of the knowledge and innovation communities promoted by the European Institute of Innovation and Technology (EIT) to strengthen the competitiveness and sustainability of cultural and creative industries in Europe. Created in 2023, it focuses its activity on five areas: architecture, cultural heritage, audiovisual media, fashion and video games.
The community currently brings together 30 core partners, 37 cooperation partners and 52 community participants, in addition to more than 3,860 associates. It is organized through six regional hubs in Europe, including the one based in Barcelona, which operates in the southwest of the continent.

As a cooperation partner, Promálaga will be able to take part in professional gatherings, regional meetings and networking activities, and connect with companies, entrepreneurs, investors and institutions from different European countries. Among the planned spaces are the Innovation Forum, the Investment Network and the Cities & Regions Network, according to the statement.
The collaboration will also make it possible to explore European projects and calls for proposals, as well as training and capacity-building actions, with the aim of facilitating access for Málaga-based companies and entrepreneurs to this specialized network.
The incorporation came after an admission process and a working meeting with representatives of EIT Culture & Creativity, at which a collaboration roadmap began to be defined. Promálaga states that it is already working on identifying calls and projects of interest, as well as on participating in community gatherings.
