San Diego Comic-Con Málaga 2026 opens seat reservations on September 25
The convention, from October 1 to 4 at FYCMA, features more than 300 hours of content and a digital agenda to filter activities, save favourites and reserve a spot.

San Diego Comic-Con Málaga 2026 has presented its full programme for the edition that will take place from October 1 to 4 at the Palacio de Ferias y Congresos de Málaga (FYCMA), with more than 300 hours of content dedicated to film, TV series, comics, anime, video games, board games, role-playing and cosplay.
Those who have an active account on the Portal del Fan will be able to access seat reservation management starting on Friday, September 25, at eleven in the morning. To do so, it is necessary to first activate the profile on that portal.
Along with the reservation announcement, the organization has presented a new official agenda, available on the web and app, which allows all content to be consulted from today and filtered by guest, theme, activity type or room. The tool also allows saving panels and activities as favorites to create a personalized view of the event.
Among the guests of this edition are the actress Aya Cash, the voice actor Charles Martinet, the artists Kenny Ruiz and Jordi Lafebre, and the miniature painter Ángel Giráldez, among other names from film, comics, anime and video games.
The programme includes film and TV panels such as the reunion of the cast of Los Serrano on Thursday, October 1 at Auditorium 1 (17.30 horas), or the meeting with Elijah Wood and Sean Astin on Sunday, October 4 at Hall M (16.15 horas). In comics, notable panels include La Huella Española en el Cómic Europeo, with Juanjo Guarnido, Jordi Lafebre and Miguelanxo Prado, on Saturday, October 3 at Auditorium 2 (11.30 horas), and the panel on Spider-Man with John Romita Jr., also on Saturday, October 3.
The BBVA Cosplay Contest, one of the convention's central contests, will be held on Saturday, October 3 at Hall M at 19.30 horas, with Kamui Cosplay, Ayuru Cosplay, Sabaku Cosplay and Like Linda on the jury. The cosplayer Ayuru, present at the presentation event, noted that the level of cosplay in Spain «is very high» and expressed her wish that the contest «surprise» both participants and the public.
Fernando Piquer, director of SDCC Málaga, stated that the event arrives within twenty days and referred to the public itself as the one to judge the result.
According to the statement issued by FYCMA, the presentation, held at the Museo del Automóvil y la Moda de Málaga, was attended by the mayor of Málaga, Francisco de la Torre; the second vice-president of the Junta de Andalucía, Manuel Gavira; the Andalusian minister José Antonio Nieto; representatives of BBVA and Telefónica, and councilwoman Alicia Izquierdo.
