The quartet will offer a repertoire ranging from classic jazz to fusions with Andalusian rock, as detailed by the Ayuntamiento de Fuengirola. The programme includes standards, bossas and Latin rhythms, as well as original pieces from that blend with Andalusian rock.

Tickets and where to buy them

Tickets cost five euros. They can be purchased on the website entradas.fuengirola.es or in person at the information point of the Centro Comercial Miramar, Monday to Friday, from 10:00 to 12:30 and from 15:00 to 18:00. They will also be available at the box office before the start of the show, subject to availability.

A group with a track record since 2002

Ébano Jazz Quartet made its debut in 2002 at the pub Frenesí, in Los Boliches. Since then it has performed in pubs, jazz clubs, restaurants and hotels on the Costa del Sol, and has taken part in concerts in venues in various Andalusian provinces. Its history includes international engagements such as the Tanjazz festival in Tangier, in the 2009 and 2010 editions, the Certamen de Jazz del Hotel Elliot de Gibraltar in 2010, the Chella Beach Club de Tánger in 2012 and 2013 and the Hotel Kempinski Bahía de Estepona in 2016 and 2017. In recent years it has continued to give concerts and take part in jazz competitions organised by town councils and venues, mainly in Andalusia.

Saxophone, piano, bass and drums

The line-up consists of tenor saxophone, piano, bass and drums. According to the Ayuntamiento, its members have professional experience and technical training to tackle a diverse repertoire and fuse different musical currents. The performance is aimed both at fans of the genre and at those who want to discover new sounds. The councillor for Culture, Rodrigo Romero, presented the proposal and highlighted, in statements released by the Consistorio, the municipal commitment to "a diverse cultural programme, which allows people to enjoy different musical proposals in Fuengirola and brings the public closer to groups with experience and a personality of their own".

Tickets, at five euros, are bought at entradas.fuengirola.es, at the information point of the Centro Comercial Miramar (Monday to Friday, from 10:00 to 12:30 and from 15:00 to 18:00) or at the box office before the show, if seats remain.
