The International Fair of the Primary Sector of the Axarquía (FIAx), held at the Vélez-Málaga fairground, celebrates its closing day this Sunday, October 25, under the slogan "Future". Visitors can tour the exhibitors, take part in new challenges of the Reto Máster Chef and enjoy tastings, cocktail demonstrations and preparations with espetos and roasts, as well as the recognition and closing events that will bring the event to an end.
Espetos, live cooking and sector companies
The second day, held this Saturday, has been led by the sardine espeto, by Restaurante Chinchin Puerto, and by the Reto Máster Chef, with live preparations and contact with the public. The organization highlights that these activities have helped bring the work of farmers, livestock breeders, fishermen and producers of the Axarquía closer to visitors.
Alongside the culinary demonstrations, the fair has also brought together local companies and producers in a promotional space where they have been able to present their products and establish professional contacts, combining commercial activity with outreach and leisure.
Dog show for the whole family
Saturday's programme also included the Dog Show by the Sociedad Canina de la Costa del Sol, with specimens of more than twenty-five breeds, from Labradors and golden retrievers to less common breeds such as the Afghan hound, the borzoi or the kerry blue terrier. The activity was aimed at families, who were able to learn about the characteristics of each breed up close.
What the closing day offers
This Sunday, the last day of FIAx, the Vélez-Málaga fairground keeps its exhibition spaces open and adds new activities of the Reto Máster Chef, tastings and cocktail demonstrations, as well as traditional preparations with espetos and roasts. The programme will be completed with the recognition and closing events of this first edition of the fair.
