The 23rd edition of the Aula Municipal de Flamenco offers on Monday, October 26 the performance of the Málaga singer Chelo Soto, accompanied on guitar by Pedro de Tolox. The session will be at 19:30 at the Centro Cultural Provincial María Victoria Atencia, on calle Ollerías, with doors opening at 19:00.

The series is free of charge. Tickets can be collected on the day of the concert, from 9:00 to 13:30, at the Fiestas department of the Ayuntamiento, at the Servicios Operativos, at Camino San Rafael, number 99. Any remaining tickets will be distributed at the cultural centre itself from 18:00.

Eight performances in 2026

The Aula Municipal de Flamenco reaches its twenty-third edition in 2026 and maintains its line of support for Málaga talent: all the artists taking part are from the city or the province. The programme includes eight performances devoted to cante, toque and baile, with a line-up made up of Antonia Contreras, José de Chaparro, Isabel Soto, Chelo Soto, Rosi Campos and Elena Pino «La Kuki», as well as the flamenco groups of Carmen González and Las Repompas. The sessions are held on the last Monday of each month. The series is organised by the Área de Servicios Operativos, Playas y Fiestas del Ayuntamiento de Málaga, with the collaboration of the Diputación Provincial, which provides the cultural centre space. Its purpose is the dissemination of flamenco in its three aspects of cante, toque and baile. The poster for this edition has been created by the artist and technician of the Área de Fiestas Fernando Wilson.

What to do to attend

Tickets must be collected on Monday, October 26 itself, from 9:00 to 13:30, at the Fiestas department of the Ayuntamiento (Camino San Rafael, 99). If seats remain, they are distributed at the Centro Cultural Provincial María Victoria Atencia from 18:00. The performance begins at 19:30.
