The Naim foundation has assisted around 240 people in Ronda so far this year, of whom 80 have been hired, with the collaboration of around 80 companies. This was stated by the organisation's president, Enrique Porras, during the presentation of its actions at the El Fuerte civic centre, according to Ronda City Council.

Adapted courses and next call

The foundation's work focuses on improving the job skills of people at risk of exclusion, with courses adapted to the needs of the population. The most immediate one will begin on October 26 and will deal with «Event design and decoration». Porras explained that the intention is to offer tools to those in vulnerable situations so that they can find work and get out of it. The organisation has been working with the City Council since 2021 through the Eracis programme, with actions in the Dehesa and el Fuerte neighbourhoods, where it has taken part in both editions of the programme.

Council assessment

The municipal delegate for Social Rights, Cristina Durán, has highlighted the foundation's work and has encouraged those who wish to sign up for these courses to do so in order to increase their opportunities. Durán stressed that training can facilitate the entry into the labour market of vulnerable people.
