The closure to road traffic of Avenida María Zambrano, in Mijas, leaves the Cortijo Don Elias stop out of service on the M-222 interurban bus route, which covers the Valtocado-El Barrio-La Alquería-Fuengirola journey. The closure is due to the dismantling of a large crane and will remain in place throughout the day of Thursday, October 22, between 09:45 and 22:00, according to the Mijas City Council via the Consorcio de Transporte Metropolitano del Área de Málaga.

Alternative stops

Those who usually use that stop will have to go to the nearest ones that remain operational: CARE Antonio Machado and Mercadona. The rest of the M-222 itinerary is not affected by the closure.
