Marbella renews aid to Aspandem with 299,000 euros for nearly a thousand users

The Marbella City Council has renewed its collaboration with the Aspandem association through the signing of two agreements totaling 299,000 euros. The money is intended to support the entity's work, which currently serves 980 people with intellectual disabilities and their families. According to the statement issued by the City Council, Aspandem provides this service at various care centers in the municipality, which are also attended by people from other parts of the province of Málaga and Andalucía. The agreements were signed by the mayor, Ángeles Muñoz, and the president of Aspandem, María José Morales, at an event also attended by the deputy mayor of San Pedro Alcántara, Javier García. The mayor described the grants as nominative and highlighted the work carried out by the organization with its users.
