The courtyard of the Biblioteca Municipal de San Zoilo hosts from Monday, October 19 the exhibition «Arquitectura del silencio», by the author Juan Ramón Castro Morales. The show can be visited until November 7.

Folded paper and poetry

The pieces are made with paper from books and magazines, worked through folding and painting techniques. With that process, the author transforms the pages into organic compositions whose shapes recall Japanese origami. The creations are accompanied by poems that complete their plastic content and propose an encounter between word and form. The proposal thus relates the verbal with the visual and combines the contemplation of the pieces with the reading of the texts that accompany them.

Opening with municipal presence

The symbolic opening, held on the afternoon of Monday 19, was attended by the mayor of Antequera, Manolo Barón, and the councillors José Medina Galeote and Paqui Sánchez, according to the Ayuntamiento.
