The proceeds from ticket sales go to the Asociación Rondeña de Alzhéimer (AROAL), which offers support to people with neurodegenerative diseases and their families, according to the note sent by Fundación Unicaja.
Inside the dome, the viewer is placed at the centre of a route on which twenty large-format works from the Museo Nacional del Prado are projected, among them ‘Las Meninas’ by Velázquez, ‘El Caballero de la mano en el pecho’ by El Greco or ‘La Maja desnuda’ by Goya. These images are combined with verses by Lope de Vega, Cervantes, Machado or Lorca and with music performed live by a string quartet.
The dome's auditorium has capacity for 100 people, arranged on circular tiers to facilitate contemplation of the works. Before entering the dome, the visit passes through an outdoor area with two spaces: a recreation of a painter's studio, with animated works and creative questionnaires, and a point where you can get a period portrait generated with artificial intelligence and inspired by the style of the great masters.
