The Delegation for Migrations of the Diocese of Málaga is calling a new Silence Circle, open to believers and non-believers, consisting of reflecting or praying in silence for half an hour on the situation of emigrants and refugees.
On this occasion the call focuses on the boys, girls and adolescents who cross borders alone, who according to the organization face a triple lack of protection for being minors, foreigners and defenceless.
The Silence Circles were born in France on the initiative of the Franciscan priest Alain J. Richard, inspired by non-violence, to promote solidarity with immigrants.
