La Cala de Mijas will host the first edition of the 'La pequeña Cuba' festival from October 1 to 4, organized by the Cubanos Unidos association together with the Ayuntamiento de Mijas, with the aim of spreading Cuban culture. The event will be set up in the car park next to the Bulevar, where there will be around a dozen stalls selling typical Cuban food and crafts, with dishes such as tamales or roast pork and cocktails such as the mojito.
During the days there will be live music, entertainment and a dj. Sunday will be dedicated to children, with children's games, a carousel and special non-alcoholic drinks.
The opening hours will be from 12:00 to 00:00 on Thursdays and Sundays, and until 01:00 on Fridays and Saturdays.
