The 'Fashion Day de Echeverría del Palo' Catwalk celebrates its sixth edition on Friday, October 16, from 18:00 to 21:00, on Avenida Pío Baroja. The models will show off garments and accessories provided by the associated establishments of the area, with the aim of encouraging local shopping. The event is part of the 'Vive Echeverría 2026' project, developed by the Asociación de Comercios de Echeverría del Palo through a collaboration agreement with the Ayuntamiento, and receives a grant of 12,000 euros from the Área de Comercio.
The shows will take place on a blue carpet, with the support of a giant screen to follow the parade. It will feature as guest of honor the Malaga-born designer Raúl Doña, from the brand Dona Ralph. The third edition of the 'Echeverría Fashion Talent' contest will also be held, aimed at young designers, through the 'Fashion E-Business School' brand of the Escuela Superior de Turismo de la Costa del Sol. Singer and presenter Macarena Albarracín will act as master of ceremonies.
Most of the models are residents of the area of all ages, together with professional models, and will have their hair and makeup done by the Antonio Eloy school. Marta Cañamero and Jaromir Miguel Fojtasek, Reina and Míster of Feria El Palo 2026, will also take part in the parade. Participating establishments include Millennium, Berry Bloom, Joyerías Vergara, Strava Boutique, Óptica Guillermo, Óptica Miramar, La Promenade, Vasika, Lola Ortigosa and, as a guest external to the association, Dulce Laura.</description>
