XVIII Málaga Blood Donation Marathon
Blood and plasma donation day at the Patio de Banderas of the City Hall, with the possibility of registering as a bone marrow donor.

The Patio de Banderas of the Málaga City Hall hosts the XVIII Blood Donation Marathon in uninterrupted hours from 9:00 to 21:00, where blood and plasma can be donated. It will also be possible to register as a bone marrow donor, which requires, among other requirements, being between 18 and 40 years old.
20 stretchers will be set up for blood extraction and four stations for plasma donation, with four differentiated areas: reception, medical examination, blood and plasma donation, and refreshments. The team will be made up of 26 direct care professionals and three mobile units will be deployed.
The organization hopes to reach 500 donations. The City Hall and the Málaga Transfusion, Tissue and Cell Center have collaborated on this initiative since 2008.
