The Feria de Nerja 2026 has ended. It was held from October 8 to 12 in honour of its Patron Saints, the Virgen de las Angustias and San Miguel Arcángel, and over five days the streets, squares and the Real de la Feria have been full, according to the Ayuntamiento de Nerja.

Free concerts in the Plaza de España

One of the busiest spots has been the free music programme in the Plaza de España, where Mägo de Oz, Chambao and El Arrebato have performed, as well as Samuel G., Samueliyo Baby and José de las Heras. The concerts have filled the square and turned it into one of the main meeting points of the festivities. The councillor for Fiesta Mayor, Elena Gálvez, has given a positive assessment of this year's edition and stressed the organisational effort to offer a programme aimed at all audiences. Gálvez also highlighted the involvement of associations, groups and artists, and congratulated municipal workers, the Policía Local and Protección Civil on how the celebrations went.

Representatives of the Feria

The Feria de Nerja 2026 already had its representatives from the start of the festivities. Carla Moyano was proclaimed Reina, Ainhoa Stranieri Primera Dama and Noemí Álvarez Segunda Dama, at a gala held in the Plaza de España after the pregón by the Nerja artist Cynthia Martín, as reported by the portal on October 12.

Statements

«Our town has lived unforgettable days, with an extraordinary atmosphere. Nerja has shown that it knows how to keep its traditions alive and enjoy its patron saint festivities», said the councillor for Fiesta Mayor, Elena Gálvez.
