Málaga closes the Smart City Congress with a declaration on the use of AI in cities
The VI Congreso Smart City of the Red Española de Ciudades Inteligentes concluded on Wednesday with the presentation of the Declaración de Málaga, with eleven commitments for the use of artificial intelligence in municipal management.

The 6th Smart City Congress of the Spanish Network of Smart Cities (RECI) ended on Wednesday, September 16 with the presentation of the Málaga Declaration, a document that sets out eleven commitments to move toward a use of artificial intelligence oriented toward cities and people.
According to the note issued by the Ayuntamiento de Málaga, the text places the general interest, the protection of rights, transparency and public accountability among the principles that must guide the incorporation of artificial intelligence into municipal management.
