Businesses in Fuengirola that wish to join the 'Outlet y Promoción Fuengirola' campaign have from Monday, October 26 to Tuesday, November 3 to submit their application. The campaign will be held afterwards, from November 5 to 7, according to the Ayuntamiento de Fuengirola.

Requirements to participate

All businesses open to the public that commit to offering additional discounts, duly signposted, on items from the previous sales season, as well as affordable promotional prices on new-season products, may participate. In addition, they must keep the establishment open during the campaign days during their usual hours. The aim, according to the Concejalía de Comercio, is to boost local commerce, help clear stock from previous seasons and give visibility to new-season products during a period of lower activity after the summer.

How to submit the application

The form can be obtained at the information desk of the Ayuntamiento or downloaded from the municipal website, in the Sede Electrónica, within the catalogue of procedures, in the Comercio section. Once completed with the establishment's details and the planned offers, there are four ways to submit it:
  • Through the Sede Electrónica on the municipal website.
  • By email to comercio@fuengirola.org.
  • By WhatsApp, sending a photograph of the application to the phone number 697 469 342.
  • Through the Fuengirola Más Viva app, with the option enabled for registration.

Presentation of the campaign

The concejal de Comercio, Francisco Javier García Lara, has presented the initiative. According to him, this campaign seeks to «boost commerce, stand by our local establishments, give them visibility and value the service and personalised attention they offer to residents». The Concejalía de Comercio encourages establishments from all sectors to join the campaign, which aims to generate new sales opportunities, attract customers and strengthen the competitiveness of local commerce.
